I am looking for information on Joseph DAWSON the first settler of Trumbull County, who moved there from Mahoning County in the early 1800's. He married Rachel ROSE. Her family remained in Trumbull County for several generations after also moving from Mahoning County. But the DAWSON's migrated through ILLINOIS and MISSOURI and settled in Trinity and Polk County TEXAS. Anyone researching This DAWSON line can email me at: .
Joseph Dawson is believed to have been born abt. 1780 in Virginia according to Census info. I descend through his son Isaac N. DAWSON and Elizabeth Jane Cartwright, and their son Thomas I. and Mary Hannah DAWSON. Would appreciate any info or correspondence on this family line. Thanks
