I am looking for the marriage of Michael BOWE / Bovie / Bovey to Lucy Ann KELLER. I believe that their marriage was about 1874 or before and may have taken place in Sandusky or Wood County OH. Their first known child John BOWE was born about 1874. If anyone has a early marriage index for Sandusky County I would really appreaciate a lookup. Marriage could have possibly taken place in neighboring Wood County.

I do not know when Michael BOWE was born or who his parents are. I do have some old notes that says he died of Typhoid Fever. Lucy Ann KELLER shows up on the 1880 Scott Twp, Sandusky Co., OH in 1880 living in the home of her father John Andrew KELLER, but no Michael BOWE. Lucy's 3rd known child Frank BOWE was born in 1882, so Michael must have been somewhere in 1880. Lucy KELLER married 2nd John KROTZER on September 30, 1886. I assume that Michael BOWE must have died between 1882 and 1885.

Our local library does not have census for Ohio and I am having a difficult time figuring out my BOWE family. The BOWE family also spelled BOVEY on early Sandusky census. In my old notes it does say that the spelling use to be BOVIE, but I have not been able to figure out how my Michael BOWE fits into these other BOWE families.

I am willing to share and exchange. My great great grandparents Frank Bowe and Eudora Adelia "Dora" Wixson ended up in Blackwell, OK.

Michael BOWE born Unknown and died between 1882 - 1885 married about 1874 to Lucy Ann KELLER, daughter of John Andrew KELLER and Rowena PLANTZ. Lucy born November 27, 1851 in Pennsylvania, married 2nd John KROTZER, died February 15, 1923 in Freedom Twp., Wood Co., OH, buried February 19, 1923 Bradner Cemetery, Bradner, Wood Co., OH. John and Lucy are buried together.
