Carole Rose Evans, 80, of Chillicothe, died 1:30 a.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015 in the Chillicothe V.A. Medical Center following a short illness.

She was born August 6, 1934, in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Howard and Mary Schneider Smith.
On September 23, 1962, she married Thomas J. "Boe" Evans who died December 13, 1982.

Carole was a United States Air Force veteran. She was a retired secretary.

Surviving are a brother, Richard A. (Debbie) Smith, of South Salem, Ohio; sisters, Sylvia (Pete) Long, of Venice, FL and Diana LaTourette, of Ft. Wayne, IN; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Dawna LaRock.

A private burial was held for family in Greenlawn Cemetery.
