Patsy F. Hambrick, 80, of Columbus, Ohio and long time resident of Chillicothe, Ohio, was called home at First Community Village, on December 30, 2014, following an extended illness.
She was born on May 26, 1934, to the late Carlton and Florence P. (Jackson) Harris, Sr.
Patsy retired from the Mead Paper Company, and was a former employee of the VA Medical Center.
She is survived by her daughters, Melissa D. Scott, Lori "Star" Hitchens, and Myia H. Hambrick and a bonus daughter Tamra Lowe; her sons, Robert Hambrick Jr., Anwar "Curtis Hambrick" (So Yong) Mateen, Jackson L. Hambrick, and a special son, Danny (Toni) Cooper; 13 grandchildren including, Yaumi (Marc) Hill, Stacee L. Hitchens, and Amber L. Hambrick whom she raised as her children; 21 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; as well as a host of family and friends.
In addition to her mother and father, Patsy was preceded in death by her brothers, Vincent Jackson, Roland Harris, Jack Harris, Carlton Harris Jr.; and daughter in-law, Susan Hambrick.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 6, at Quinn Chapel A.M.E , 181 W. Main St., Chillicothe, OH, with Pastor Acie Collins officiating.
Friends and family may call from 12:00 pm until the time of the service.
