Hi again, back home in Buffalo we have lots of historical newspapers on microfilm at the lib. Back through the 1800s, they included a record of deaths with names and ages and cause of death etc. I'm wondering if there is something similar available for Ross Co., and if so, which newspaper would carry information when someone passed away in Yellow Bud, North Union Tshp? My 3rd great grandfather, Samuel J Myton, passed away on Mar 16 1874 and I'm wondering if maybe there was something in a newspaper about it since the info I have doesn't contain cause of death. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.
