I assume from your posting that you have a copy of page 50 from the "Record of Deaths, Volume 1, 1867-1876, Ross County." If so, that is the death record.

County probate courts kept death records between 1867 and December 19, 1908.

The state of Ohio began issuing certificates for deaths on December 20, 1908.
