Arlene Hatfield, 84, of Chillicothe, Ohio, died at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at her residence following a brief illness.


She was born September 23, 1929, in Ross County, Ohio to the late Franklin and Margaret Kuhn Bell.
On April 23, 1955, she married Billy E. Hatfield who died April 14, 2004.

Surviving are children, Rick Hatfield, Rodney (Robyn) Hatfield, Pam (David) Baire, Christy (Terry) Clary, Kay (Sam) Creech, all of Chillicothe, OH and Diane (Dean) Vaught, of Ray, Ohio; ten grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Randy Hatfield; two sisters; and five brothers.

Arlene was a member of Tyler Memorial United Methodist Church.
She retired from the former Higby School.

Following cremation, a private graveside service, with Pastor Don Mundy officiating, will be held in Three Locks Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
