I am interested in finding out more about this couple, who are third great grandparents of mine. John Kerr was an attorney, who had been born and educated in Ireland. Later the couple went to Franklin County, where Kerr was instrumental in having Columbus named as the Ohio Capital.

I know very little about them, especially their early lives. For Mary Ann, I know nothing at all except for her name -- which makes me wonder if she was related to the prominent Scrantons of Pennsylvania.
