I am having problems researching the parents of Susanna Salts, b. 1815 in Ohio. Supposed parents are William Salts (b. 1803 in Virginia) and Sarah UNKNOWN (b. 1793 in Virginia). Susan wed in 1837 in Jackson County, Ohio to husband, (I'm sure), Stewart or Steward Thompson (b. 1805 in Ohio). Their children were born in Ross County, Ohio. They then moved to Illinois between 1850 and 1853.

Problems:
You can see William probably was too young to father Susanna. Also, some family trees list Sarah as being William's sister. Possible, I suppose. It keeps things interesting enough.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
