I am trying to determine if John T. GREENFIELD is the father of the William Walter GREENFIELD (or perhaps Walter William GREENFIELD) who married Sarah Jane EKES in Preble Co., OH. Any other information on John T. GREENFIELD would also be helpful.

John GREENFIELD married Elizabeth SPROWL 31 Mar 1833 Preble Co., OH
Walter W. GREENFIELD married Sarah Jane EKES July 27, 1854 Preble Co., OH

A "W. Wm" is in John T. GREENFIELD's household in the 1850 census, and is of the correct age. I could find no other W. W. GREENFIELD in later census records around that area, other than the one who married Sarah EKES.

What I know about my William Walter GREENFIELD is that he was born January 11, 1833 in OH, that his first son was named Alfred (after his brother?) and his first daughter had Elizabeth for her middle name (after his mother?). In the 1900 census, W. W. GREENFIELD indicates his father was from Md. and his mother from OH, which also agrees with the 1850 census if John were his father.
