Dorothy F. Howells, 91,died Tuesday morning, Feb 10, 2015 at Beeghly Oaks. (Mahoning County, Ohio)
Dorothy was born Aug. 22, 1923, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Freeland. (Evans L. Freeland)
Dorothy was a school teacher for more than 30 years.
The last 25 years of her career, she was a home economics teacher at Chaney High School. She was a member of the Boardman United Methodist Church.
Her husband, David F. Howells, whom she married Aug. 18, 1962, died April 14, 2004.
Dorothy is survived by a brother-in-law, William E. Howells; a sister-in-law, Jean E. Howells; her foster child, Catherine Yurcho; and her nephews, David Cutlip and Jeffery Cutlip.
Besides her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister, Ella Cutlip.
There will be services at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Anstrom Chapel, 8387 Tod Ave. in Boardman, Ohio

CUTLIP, Ella F, age 78, of Springboro, Ohio passed away Friday, September 9, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. Ella was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting afghans and was an excellent cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice in February 1997.
Ella is survived by her sons, Jeff (Joan) Cutlip of Centerville, Ohio and David Cutlip of Springboro, OH; grandchildren, Christopher (Amy) Cutlip of Columbus, OH, Ryan Cutlip of New York City and Megan Cutlip of Columbus, OH; sister, Dorothy Howells of Youngstown, OH; step-brother, Joe (Wilma) Holbrook of Columbus, OH and cousin Juanita Frick also of Columbus.
