Elinor Louise Hughes Setty
WAVERLY: Elinor Louise Hughes Setty, 85 of Waverly, Ohio died 5:05 a.m. Wednesday, 8 October, 2014 in Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio.
She was born 21 June, 1929 in Waverly, Ohio the daughter of the late Walter "Red" Chandler and Nina Mildred (Littlejohn) Chandler.
On 7 July, 1950 Elinor was united in marriage to Everett Ellis Hughes who preceded her in death on 7 January, 1993.
She was later united in marriage to Hugh Setty on September 1998 who preceded her in death on 5 July, 2000.
Surviving are a son, Tony Ellis Hughes and wife, Maryellen of Circleville, Ohio and a daughter, Rhonda Clark and husband, Patrick of Chillicothe, Ohio; three grandchildren, Adam Weiss and wife, Cindy, Kyle Hughes and David Brown; four great grandchildren, Ciera and Chloe Weiss and Macy and Ellie Hughes; several Setty step children; and many nieces and nephews; and a brother, Homer Chandler and wife Clara of Imperial Beach, California.
Her parents, husbands, son, Thomas Michael Brown and two brothers, John and Jerry Chandler, preceded Elinor in death.
Elinor was a member of Canal Church of Christ and was a retired Dental Assistant.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, 11 October 2014 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly with Darrell Pinkerton minister, officiating.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio.
Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home from 4 - 8 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday.
