WAVERLY: T. Mae Moore, 87, of, Waverly, Ohio, passed away April 12, 2014 at Traditions of Bristol Village in Waverly.

She was born July 11, 1926 in Idaho, Ohio, (Pike County) daughter of the late Roy Pennisten and Agnes Freshour Pennisten.

In 1967 Mae was united in marriage to John E. Moore who preceded her in death December 14, 1973.

Mae is survived by her caregiver, Betty Branham of Waverly, Ohio; as well as many friends and former students. In addition to her parents and husband Mae was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Kendall Pennisten, and two sisters, Lyndall Camp and Mary Albert.

Mae was a retired teacher in the Logan City Schools for 30 years, a graduate of Wilmington College, and did graduate work at Moorehead State University and Ohio University.

Calling hours will not be observed and burial will be scheduled at Mound Cemetery in Piketon, Ohio at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.
