Charles E. Mustard, age 68, of S.R. 220 Piketon, Ohio, died Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.

He was born October 15, 1944 in Idaho, Ohio, (Pike County) a son of the late Otis and Eleanor Smith Mustard.

On March 3, 1965 he was united in marriage to Freda Gallian Mustard who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Darren Mustard and wife, Josette of Piketon, Roy Waddle and wife, Karen of Piketon, and Dale Waddle and wife, Penny of Piketon; three daughters, Kathy Garrison and husband, Tim of Peebles, Ohio, Starla Ruggles and Dan Garrison of Georgia, and Gail Mustard and husband, Rick of Waverly, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; five brothers, Roger (Edna) Mustard, Junior (Lillie) Mustard, Thomas Mustard, James (Barbara) Mustard, and Larry (Mary) Mustard; seven sisters, Jennie (Herb) Snow, Joan (Elba) Herman, Betty (Bill) Koehler, Donna (Tim) Shockey, Geneva (Bryan) Ward, Brenda (Peter) Buckley, and Debra (Mark) Mustard.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Leon Mustard; and one sister, Mary Ruth Mustard.

Charles was retired from the Ohio Department of Corrections, was a member of Orient Lodge #321, F.&AM where he was past Master, and was a member of the Pike County Shrine Club.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Charley Ross officiating.
Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
A Masonic service will be conducted by Orient Lodge #321 F.&A.M. of Waverly at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday.
