WAVERLY: Marjorie Ann Reno Skaggs, 87 of Zahn's St., Waverly, Ohio, died Tuesday August 27, 2013 at the Traditions at Bristol Village, Waverly, Ohio.

She was born February 11, 1926 in the Camp Creek Community, Pike County, Ohio to the late Eli and Arbannah Belle Jones Reno.

Mrs. Skaggs was a graduate of the Portsmouth Beauty Academy, former co-owner of Roosa's General Store, and a member of the Mt. Olive Community Church.


Surviving are two sons: Gary Roberts and wife, Alvita of Beaver, Ohio, John Roberts of Lucasville, Ohio; one brother, Ottie W. Reno of Lucasville, OH; and one sister, Jessie Davis of Beaver, Ohio; eight grandchildren: Donald Roberts of Delaware, Ohio, Sheila Robbins of Cincinnati, Ohio, Susan Thompson of London, Ohio, Ryan Roberts of Harrisburg, PA, Blake Roberts and Brooke Roberts both of Beaver, Margie Evans and husband Tracy of Waverly, and John G. Roberts of Lucasville; and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Howard Bruce Roberts, Harley Roosa, and Willard Skaggs, one son, Donald E. Roberts, two brothers, Gene Franklin Reno and Arizona Wade Reno, and one sister, Ruth Kirk.Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday at Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly, with David Roosa officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
