Lancaster,Ohio: Elsie M. Benson, age 77, passed away on Aug. 3rd, 2012.

She was born in Pikeville, Kentucky to Maud and Bud Maynard one of 11 children.
She was a mother and great grandmother, having three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 43 years in 1995, Bill Benson; and her son Billy Benson.
Bill was a regional manager of various Cardinal super markets in Ohio.
Liking to keep busy, Elsie worked 11 yrs for Rayo-Vac Battery, until they moved out of state, then she joined Premix E.M.S, which later became Venture Molding. While at Premix she met and married Eugene Gray Jr. in 1999.

She is survived by one brother in Ypsilanti, Michigan, two sisters in Avon Park, Florida and one sister in Tenn.

There will be no viewing, as Elsie chose to be cremated to provide burial space for her grandchildren.
Funeral and Memorial masses will take place at a later date.
Caring Cremation has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster, OH.
