Pioneer Settlers Of Turkeyfoot Moved to Ohio
We have a copy of the proceedings of the New Lexington Baptist church, organized at the house of Reuben Skinner, in Pike township, Perry County, Ohio 4 Dec 1819. It appears that many of the members constituting the said congregation had emigrated to New Lexington, Ohio, from Turkeyfoot township Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
