Lucy T. Freese, 84, passed away Dec. 4, 1999.
She was born in Fulda, Ohio, and graduated from Caldwell High School. She then came to Akron, where she was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the St. Monica Guild, and the Mission Circle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo, in 1992, and is survived by daughters, Estelle (Hugh) Cox of Zanesville, Barbara (Roger) Forte of Manchester; son, Joseph (Sue) of North Canton; sisters, Margery Weisend of Woodsfield, Ohio, Regina Shockling of North Braddock, Pa.; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at St. Mary Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Dunn-Quigley, Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 811 Grant St., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The family suggests memorials to St. Mary Church.
