My Will
In the Name of the Benevolent Father of all I JONATHAN PIERCE of Chandlerville do make and publish this my last will and testament.

I give and devise to my wife ANN they house and lot we now lev reside in and the household furnishings we have at my decease and further to have a good and respectable living of my former Ann’s natural life or remains my widow.

To my three sons JOHN, LEWELLEN and ANDREW I have given them there shares in land and the (house or horse) no further (elume?) on my State.

To my daughter MARGARET COLE I give and bequeath ten dollars to her and heirs.

To my daughter META ARNITA I give and bequeath fifty dollars to her and heirs and to my three daughters (effa?) SAREY, ANN and AMANDA yet at home, I give and bequeath one Bed and Beding and fifty dollars to each one of them and heirs.

I do hereby nominate my sons JAMES and DAVID executors of this my last will and testament and after having all my (dufle?) and the girls shares.

I give and bequeath to my (said?) sons James and David all my real estate and (herSoma) Property to be equally divided between them and there heirs.

I do hereby revoke all former wills by me made in testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal the fourteenth day of August one thousand eight hundred and fifty four.

Yes actually I was just posting. This was among my father-in-laws genealogy things. His 2g grandmother was Susanna Pierce (PEAIRS), who we now know was the daughter of Joseph Peairs and Susannah Allen. I think that Joseph was a cousin of Lewis. Their fathers being Elisha and James. I have an excerp from the Peairs Family History. If I can be of help, please feel free to contact me.

He married SARAH HORN January 19, 1741/42 in New Jersey, daughter of JOHN VAN HORN and RACHEL WEBBER. She was born March 30, 1721 in New York, NY, and died November 20, 1806 in Columbia, Ohio.
