It is good to hear from possible family members. This George Taylor is my husbands 4th great grandfather. George was born in England about 1788. He, his wife plus at least 4 sons & 1 daughter-in-law and 1 grandson came to the US about 1835, settling in east of Zanesville, Ohio

Most of the work on this line was done by my father-in-law. I currrently am working on my mother's Swedish line which was a brickwall untill this past march. But ... I would be more than willing to share that which I have gone through

Just happened to fall into this one. I am sure this George is a brother to my GGG grandfather, Charles Taylor who came from Hampshire, England around 1836.

I am saving this for future reference!

Many were named one thing and called something else. Also as I said earlier in this string I am not currently working this line but wil lok at wht I ave readily available.

Hi

I do know that William Taylor, son of Charles Taylor and Maryann Seymour, was married to an Elvira or Elvina Winns/Wimms. They lived in Norwich

Thanks for the additional piece of information. There seems to be a high possibility there is a connection. Do you have the year of birth and/or death on any of these people. Names repeat so often in the family.

As I mentioned previously I am not currently working this line but will check my files for more information.
