The following is a copy of the will of John William Hahn: APPLICATION TO PROBATE WILL In the Probate Court, Muskingum County, Ohio. In the Matter of the Will of John Hahn deceased. To the Honorable, the Judge of said Court: And now comes David Hahn and produces for admission to probate in said Court the last will and Testament of John Hahn late a resident of the Township of Adams in said County, who died on or about the 24th day of February AD 1885. Said Testator died leaving Elizabeth Hahn his widow and the following named persons, all of the next of kin resident in the State of Ohio. David Hahn Son Wills Creek, Ohio Anna Moser Daughter Adamsville, Ohio John Hahn Son Wills Creek, Ohio Elizabeth Thresh Daughter Otsego, Ohio William Hahn Son Bacon Run, Ohio Amanda Sandel Daughter Caroline Kreis Daughter Otsego, Ohio STATE OF OHIO, MUSKINGUM COUNTY, SS The above-named David Hahn being first duly sworn, says the statements of the foregoing application are true as he verily believes. THE WILL In the name of the Benevolent Father of all I John Hahn of Adams Township Muskingum County do make and publish this my last will and testament: 1st. I give and devise to my beloved wife in lieu to dower the farm on which we now reside and also the farm on which my son John Hahn resides both farms containing one hundred and twenty (120) acres and all the stock, household goods, furniture, provisions and other goods and chattels which may be thereon, at the time of my deceased during her natural life as a fore said, she selling so much thereof as to pay my just debts. On the death of my said wife the real estate aforesaid shall be appraised and also the personal properties left by my said wife, by three disinterested men appointed by the Probate Court, who also shall appoint an administrator. Said administrator shall sell all the properties real and personal and shall divide the proceeds equal between all my children: but if some of my children should die, then their children shall have their part. I, hereby revoke all former wills by me made and particular one made January 18th 1883.
