Surnames: Norman Christman, Snyder, Drumm
The death of Joseph Norman occurred at the family home in Falls township at 1 o'clock friday morning.
His death was due to a cancerous growth from which he suffered for the past twenty years. The deceased was about 83 years of age and was a veteran of the civil war having served as a lieutenant in the 115th O. V. I.
He was a man held in the highest esteem by all his friends and was recognized as one of the leading farmers and stock raisers of that community. Although his death was not unexpected, the news is quite a shock to his friends.

Norman; both of the city, and Mrs. P. J. Snyder, also of the city. One brother, David Norman and a sister, Mrs. Arthelia Drumm survive.
The funeral services will be held at Finley Chapel at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, the Rev. Mr. Shirer officiating. Interment in the Williams cemetery.
