WOODSFIELD — James “Jamie” Ewers, 21, of Woodsfield, died Wednesday (Oct. 10, 2001) at his home.
He was born April 25, 1980, in Wheeling, W.Va., son of Norene (Henthorn) Ewers of Woodsfield and the late Elvin Ewers.

Jamie was a 1999 graduate of Monroe Central High School.
He leaves a daughter, Jazmine Ewers of Woodsfield; two brothers, Christopher and Anthony Ewers, both of the home; and his maternal grandmother, Geraldine Piatt of Woodsfield.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where services will be 11 a.m. Saturday with Brent Roth officiating.
Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
