WOODSFIELD — Dorothy E. Covert, 81, of Antioch, died Thursday (Sept. 27, 2001) at Barnesville Hospital.
She was born July 30, 1920, in Holmes County, daughter of the late Elmer and Lola (Bogner) Armstrong.

Mrs. Covert was a Protestant by faith.

She was preceded in death by a son; three sisters; and a great-great-grandson.
She leaves her husband, Kenneth “Bud” Covert of Antioch; three sons, Gene Vernon of Washington Court House, Glen Vernon of Atlanta, and Raymond Vernon of Atlanta; a nephew, Lloyd Smetzer of Wooster; a niece, Linda Wolbaugh of Apple Creek; several nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield.
Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, Antioch
