POLAND, Ohio - Joyce Merullo, 80, died early Tuesday morning, June 17, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio.
Joyce was born Aug. 28, 1933, in Pomeroy, Ohio, the daughter of Rob Roy Webster and Bernice (Strickland) Webster.
She retired in 1993, after working as a Senior Claims Examiner for over 14 years for Central Benefits.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Columbus, Ohio and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She moved to Poland, Ohio (Mahoning County) from Columbus, Ohio 13 years ago.
She is survived by her husband, Santo Merullo, whom she married Feb. 16, 1957; two daughters, Karen (Peter) Woodlock of Poland, Ohio and Jean (Benjamin) Estkowski of Hilliard, Ohio; a son, Michael (Lisa) Merullo of Upper Arlington, OH; three grandsons, Mark and Eric Woodlock and Cameron Merullo; and two sisters, Dorothy Ernst of Phoenix, AZ and Eleanor (Robert) Myers of Akron, Ohio.
A private committal service will be held Saturday morning in the Chapel at Union Cemetery, in Columbus, Ohio,
