BRENTWOOD, CALIF. – Tove Johnston peacefully went to be with the Lord at John Muir Hospital in Concord, California, on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015.

She was born March 1, 1937, in Oslo, Norway, and immigrated to California, later relocating to Boardman, Ohio (Mahoning County) where she owned and operated Tova’s Bridal Shop until retiring to Brentwood.
She is survived by her son, Eric Johnston and wife Patti of Poland, OH; daughters ToveAnn Delte and Karen Sprankle and husband Vince of Washington; along with seven grandchildren, Christopher, Amanda, Evan, Robert, Kevin, Tara and Alan; and one great-grandson, Alex. Private services were held for the family.
