Della M. King, 99, passed away Friday evening, March 27, 2015.

She was born Sept. 12, 1915, in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of Joseph and Louise (Robinison) Dudley and was a lifelong area resident.
Della attended East High School.
Della was proud to help during the war as “Rosie the Riveter” by working at Truscon Steel and Republic Steel Companies and then retired as a custodian from Ursuline High School.


Her family will miss all her excellent cooking and especially her baking of her famous pies and homemade bread
She was a member of St. Dominic Church and St. Angela Merci Parish (Sacred Heart Church).

. Her husband, Thomas King, whom she married in 1932, died in 1957.

She leaves behind two children Wayne (Kay) King of Boardman, Ohio and Charlene (Robert) Porter of Johnston; 15 grandchildren, Keith (Tina) Selner, Dominic (Patty), Dave, Daniel (Cheryl) and Rick (Amy) Anzevino, Wayne, Thomas, David, Robert, Scott and Christina King, Linda (Daniel) Bobo, Patty (Dave) Bernat, Jody (Jack) Rowland and Laura (Carl) Martin; 35 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Joann King; and a son-in-law, Dominic Anzevino.
Besides her parents and husband, Della was preceded in death by a daughter, Viola Anzevino; two sons, Thomas and Robert King; a grandson, Thomas King III; six sisters; and two brothers. '

There will be a funeral service held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, OH

Friends may call Tuesday, March 31, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m., and on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, from 10 to 10:25 a.m., all at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home 4700 Market St., Boardman.

Burial will take place at Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown.
