I am looking for information on Elizabeth Emma Daringer (b. October 1849) and her borthers Charlie Daringer (b. 1851) and Frank (b. 1845). They were, I believe, born in Mahoning County, although they may have come from Baden in Germany with their parents around that time.

Elizabeth married Nicholas Knapp of Mercer County, Pa., in 1870, and died in Sharon in 1907. She was my great-grandmother. My mother, who was born in 1915, used to talk about "Uncle Charlie," so I know he must have lived into the 1920s.

Thanks.

I am granddaughter od Ignatz who was a half brother to Lizzie. Uncle Charles lived on Ohio St. in Sharon, PA. After he passed away, his son, Harry lived in the house. Harry's wife, Libby, lived there until she died. There were these children born to Ignatz and Lucy Roup: Lizzie, Louisa. Frank, Fredrick and Charles. To Ignatz and Mary Elizabeth Wilkerson were these: Ceclia, Rose and Ignatz (my grandfather). I have a picture of Aunt Lizzie and Uncle Nick sitting on the porch of their home. Anymore info you want, you can contact me at jjsmjs@worldnet,att,net or 1002 Norris Ave. Farrell, PA 16121 or 724-347-1079.
Don't ever remember hearing the name MILLER before in the family.

Thanks!

Been trying to get ahold of you. Your new e-mail doesn't work. Uncle Charles lived on Ohio Street at the large intersection where Ohio, School and Belmont Place used to be. He had a large green house and after he died his son Harry lived there. Harry's wife Libbie lived there until she died. Used to visit her once in awhile. She was blind at the end. Have pictures of the burial plots and grandpa's dad (Ignatz) is buried with Uncle Charles and Aunt Josephine.

Our Dahringers came from Baden, too, but they went to the United States. Ignatz Dahringer was born in 1819 and died in 1896 in Pennsylvania, USA. His parents were Franz Dahringer and Cecelia Unger, born in Baden, but I am not sure if they came over to the US.
