Welfare Director Benedict is scheduled to award a contract for the burial of homeless Toledoans Wednesday afternoon.
Abele & Abele have offered to bury adults in a coffin for $19 and without a coffin for $15; Malone & Rafter's offer calls for $25 with a coffin and $15 without a coffin, while O'Sullivan & Tohle will bury adults in a coffin for $18 and without a coffin for $4. Walsh Bros. bid arrived too late and will not be considered.
