Thank you so much for taking the time to research and respond! Please read my response under "Sue." I agree with you. Maybe she had epilepsy and had one too many fits during church. Maybe she died in a house fire. Over the years, people talked across the fence: "Her Mama always did say she was odd, etc., etc." With each retelling, the story became more skewed.
