Looking for any informatin on a Alonzo Gilbert who was charged with the Murder of Madge Howard. As I understand it Alonzo shot Madge in the Head and then swam across the Ohio River back to Huntington. I don't have access to the local Newspapers in that area thru Newspaper Archives. Any and all help would be appreciated.
