It's funny how doing this sort of research can both explain and dispel old family beliefs. Grandma always said we were related to the Harris' family but nobody really remembered how after all those years! With the Askins and Harris relationships, are you your own cousin? LOL

I've never really payed attention to or looked for anything related to the Askins family but will now. What information are you missing? Familysearch is showing Jonathan's mom is a Harris...is that the same line that Almira Delano married into making Jonathan a cousin of her deceased husband?
