Have you ruled out Isaac Mead Harris as John W.'s father? He came to Morrow Co. at the same time as Jonathan Askins and Reuben Harris.

It's amazing how many and how prominate the Askin families were - and how many married into the Harris families; there's even a Harris-Askins House in Westerville built as a Rotary Project to provide low income housing to the elderly of central Ohio. Lots lof luck sorting all that out!
