Waterford. Mrs. Jesse Winner, who, with her two children, was so brutally and mysteriously murdered in Missouri, was raised on what is known now as the Cal Levering farm, one-half miles west of this place. Her husband and two other persons were arrested on suspicion. John Sharp, a brother of Mrs. Winner, went to Missouri as soon as the news came.
