I was checking back to see if anything new has come up? Do you have apicture of her? Or her brother? I just got a picture of Rebecca Morningstar. I would love to compare pictures. I believe that we connect in some way. From what I have read, the Morning Star Indian family was happeing around, Wayne,Holmes and Knox counties of Ohio. They all border each other in some way. In our family (beofore I was even born) it was talk of "Blackfoot". Now Blackfoot could consist of Saponitown Soiuan Blackfoot of the Virginias, or it also could consist of the Shawnee tribal cheief "Blackhoof", whose people called themselves Blackfoot.
In your family, just how strong is it that she was Cherokee? Has it been in your family forever? Like the Blackfoot was in mine? Or trying to figure out what tribe? I just cant help to think that we are connected in some way. Our Rebecca was the same age as the oldest boy, from what Brian Lightfoot has said on the family line. I talked to him once and he agreed that was possible. Everything was kept under wraps because of being Indian.
