Eugene D. Del Villan, 82, of Venice, Florida died June 15, 2010.
Services will be at a later date at Sarasota National Cemetery. Ewing Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; sister Patricia; brother Jack; and 12 nieces and nephews.
Eugene was born in Steubenville, Ohio, on Oct. 20, 1927.
He lived in Cleveland, Ohio until he moved to Venice in 1983.
He retired from Republic Steel.
He served with the United States Army in 1950 and was stationed in Korea.
He was a member of the Venice Presbyterian Church and Epiphany Cathedral. He was also a member of the Venice branches of the American Legion, VFW, DAV, Moose and Elks Club.
