Believe the Eleanor Rowland in 1900 census, could be daughter of Thomas Rowland and 2nd wife, Mary LNU.

Mary Evans, 1st wife of Thomas Rowland, died 1891, Jackson County. An infant Rowland died that same year. Two older sons, John and David Rowland, were born to Thomas and Mary Rowland in late 1880's.

Family inputs state that Thomas Rowland remarried and had a daughter, Eleanor, b ~1895.

First wife of Thomas Rowland, perhaps given name Mary, died Aug 1891 in Jackson County. Would like to find record(or obit). Believe and infant Rowland died the following day.

1910 census of Jackson County OH includes William O Evans, 71, b Wales, daughter, Mary E, 40, b OH, widow, neice, Eleanor, 15, b OH, parents b OH. Believe listing of Eleanor as niece was error, since other records show her as daughter of Mary Rowland.

It appears that Mary Evans Rowland, 2nd married Thomas J Davis.
