Classification: Query
Surnames: Watts Strimple Pike Mead
So almost 8 years later....
The one Huron County Ohio connection between the Watts and Strimple families are Henry G Watts who married Anna D Strimple in October 1892. Henry G Watts was born 5 Aug 1860, most likely in Euclid, Cuyahoga, Ohio, the son of Robert Watts and Mary Louise Pike. He died on 13 Dec 1911 in Greenwich, Huron, Ohio and, I believe, is buried in Edwards Grove Cemetery in Ripley.
Anna D Strimple was born 15 May 1864 in Greenwich, Huron, Ohio, the daughter of George Strimple and Almira Mead. She died 18 Apr 1923 in Cleveland. I believe she is buried with Henry Watts in Edwards Grove Cemetery.
I do not believe that Henry Watts and Anna Strimple had any surviving children.
There is a nice biography on Henry G Watts and Anna Strimple in the History of Huron County, 1909, Volume II, starting on the bottom of page 139 -- which is now available online on Google Books (books.google.com, search for "History of Huron County Ohio").
