I am seeking info on the parentage of my ancestors Archibald McMullen (born c. 1815 in NY) and Christena Heller (b. 5 May 1822 in probably Hocking Co., Ohio). They were married in Hocking County 19 Jan 1840. They were on the 1850 census in Bloomingville, Benton Twp. Living with them was an Anna Dillon (born c. 1797 in Penn.), who I'm presuming is Christena's mother, but I have no proof. Anna Eby married John Dillon in Hocking Co., 13 May 1835. John Dillon died in 1838.
Anna Eby is listed on the 1830 census for Salt Creek as head of household with a 5-10 year old female, which I assume to be Christena. I can't find any of these individuals on the 1840 census.
Another twist to the scenario is that Christena's surname is alternately listed as Keller on every transcription of the marriage record I have found, making it even more difficult to locate parents. I have not viewed the original record.
If anyone can help me shed some light on how Christena Heller/Keller and Anna Eby Dillon are related, I would appreciate it. I have lots of info. on descendants to share, but this is a brick wall for me.
Also, any info on Archibald Mcmullen would be great. I have no clues to his ancestry at all. Thank-you!
