Hi!

My wife's ancestry comes down through Elizabeth Spickard who was a daughter (we think) of William Warren Spickard and Jane Knox. Frank Fisk didn't have her documented in his book because she was already married by the time the 1850 census rolled around, but we've gathered enough evidence that we're 99% sure she belongs to William and Jane.

Have you been in touch with Don Perry? He sent us a photograph of the shoe that George Alexander Spickard removed from Elizabeth Cantrell Spickard's foot as they buried her along the trail to California. It's quite poignant.
