"July 27, 1821. John Warson appointed Administrator of the estate of Rachel Price, dec'd. Sureties: Joseph Dryden, Newton Doggett. Appraisers: George Shinn, John White, James Jolly."

John Warson, et al., vs James D. Scott, et al. (Filed July Term, 1822.)
Partition. Plaintiffs John Warson and Rachel, formerly Stout, his wife, Harriett Stout, James Thurman and Eliza, formerly Stout, his wife, and Edrel Stout, a minor by his next friend, John Warson, allege that Rachel Price, dec'd., "under whom they claim as heirs" was seized of 100 acres being part of Surveys Nos. 7408, 8275, and 8406, which said decedent bought on Dec. 5, 1818 from James D. Scott and Elizabeth, his wife, formerly Price. "...each Petitioner claim one fifth of one third of said tract of land claiming as co heirs with Nathan Stout of Hannah Stout decd who was a daughter of said Rachel Price decd and who if living would be a co heir with Elizabeth Scott & Nathan Price of said Rachel Price decd." "Highland County Common Pleas Court July Term 1822 Joseph Dryden came into Court and being sworn saith that he was acquainted with Rachel Price and hath from general report and reputation Nathan Price Elizabeth Scott and the children of Rachel Stout are the only children and heirs of said Rachel Price, dec'd.
