Her great-great-great grandparents were Daniel McCoy and wife Sarah. Their son James H. McCoy and wife Mahala (White) would be the great great grandparents. To their daughter Sarah Albetine (McCoy) and husband Nelson Jefferson Walker, her great grandparents.

James and Mahala McCoy had children named Theodore b. 1848, Laura, Anna Belle b. abt 1855, William, Landon and Sarah Albetine b. 1852. Not in any specific order. Their parents James H. McCoy was killed in the Civil War in Sept 1864, Mahala died soon after on June 13,1868. The children were split up and lived in various homes.

1870 Sarah is living with grandparents her age is wrong but Daniel McCoy is 77 and Sarah is 74, Sarah is listed as 13 granddaughter. Landon is 10 and living with John W. Wolfe in Carmel, Brushcreek twp. Anna Belle is 15 and living with Ambrose Gossett and family as domestic servant in Paint twp. I am still looking for other children.

Gal I am trying to help is looking for Mahala McCoy's and James H. McCoy's burial place. She is also looking for someone with the line to share info with.
