My grandfather, George W. Coe, born in the 1880's, to a family with sur name of Lapool, Lapoole, La Pool, Lapole, La Pole, who gave him up for adoption to a Coe family when he was around 5 or 6years old. I would like any information on the Coe family or his birth family, any one of the spellings listed above. It is my understanding he ran away from home when he was around 12 or 14 years old and married my grandmother some years later, name, Martha Deckerd (Deckard) in Arkansas. They both moved to Okla. and he died in Muskogee, Okla, in 1929. Thanks.
