George W. Coe was born in Jan. 1853 in Ohio. He married Martha Decker, born Jan. 1857 in AR, daughter of William and Elzara (Lynch) Decker, Aug. 14, 1878, in Independence County, AR. They lived with Martha’s mother at Big Bottom, AR, for a few years after marriage. About 1905 they moved to Harris Township, Muskogee County, OK. Martha died there June 14, 1925. George died there Nov. 11, 1933.

You can secure a copy of George's death certificate from the Oklahoma Dept. of Health. The names of his parents should be listed on the certificate.
