I just want to let everyone know I have the family book for their descendants. This book contains meeting minutes and (for some years) lists of people in attendance at the meetings from about 1945 to 1958 or 59. It also contains a letter someone wrote to Sina McDonough with a huge lists of family members and their addresses. Lastly, it has a very large handwritten genealogy section. I believe most if not all descendant families are listed here. The book is in rough shape and I haven't managed to digitize it yet, but this thing has some nifty pockets of info embedded in it.
If you're a descendant, contact me and I'll get you any info you need.
Also - my father and I have done DNA testing here (me), at 23andme (both), and at FTDNA (his isn't complete). If you are a McDonough and Abbott descendant and have taken a DNA test, I'd love to hear from you.
