I also have 3 different birh dates for Daniel, son of Rudolph. 1789 MD, 1796, and 1785. The trend for my line in the later generations has been to use mother's maiden name as a son's middle name. Issac Patterson marries Margaret Mahan and had son Oscar Mahan....that kind of thing. So was all set to link Isaac P to Isaac and Sarah Patterson, until Death Certificate arrives and lists Daniel Hines and Rebecca Shivers as parents. Not sure if I have wrong generations connecting or what-- but this is first time Rebecca Shivers has appeared in anything I've seen. I've seen marriage date of 1834 for Daniel/Sarah Treacle. So, possibly second wife?
