Surnames: ATHERTON, ROSS
I have submitted dna to familytreedna.com. i have a match to a descendant of Benjamin Atherton. My great great great grandmother was Phoebe Carter Atherton. HOWEVER, my Phoebe Atherton married William Richard Ross. Phoebe died in Adams County, Illinois in 1833. Am I looking at the wrong Benjamin Atherton family? Has anyone else submitted dna to familytreedna.com? or to dna.ancestry.com?
