I hope someone may be of some help to me. Few years ago I was given data on a Hunt family Bible by a person who had received it from a Helen Gibson McBurney of Guernsey Co. OH and it was notarized. There is a Thomas McBurney listed in the 1830 census for Gurerney Co. Richland Township page 430

Priscilla b. 22 Mar 1802

Henry b. 25 Sep 1812
Lerois died as young man

As you can see, no state of birth for anyone was given.
I believe this family may be from VA or W.Va. and have a suggested clue that it might be Russell Co. VA
I believe the female named Priscilla Hunt to be the mother of my GGrandfather, James Basil Hunt b 20 Sep 1844 in Lamar Co, TX, whose father died before the 1850 census and Priscilla remarried to John A. Parsons and that family is listed in the 1850 Hunt Co. TX census.
James Basil Hunt had 2 sister born VA, county unkn
Priscilla Hunt was born VA, county unkn, about 1802-1805 according to the Hunt Co. TX census of 1850
This Helen McBurney is tied in someway to the Hunt family.
I don't believe the parents probably ever left their home state, just the children.
I would appreciate any help to obtain info as this is my brickwall.
