I am still missing quite a few pictures of some of the old schools as well as some dates and locations. Please check out the new page and let me know what you think or if you can help with any other information. It now loads much faster and is more user-friendly for people wanting to only view a certain county.

Among the old papers that belonged to my Grandmother, Edna Brown-Koons, I found a 1907 Souvenir booklet from the Opperman Public School, District 5, Valley Twp., Guernsey Co., OH. I don't see any mention of that school on your old schools website. The booklet lists pupils grade 1 through grade 7. The surnames are: Thompson, Richards, Kmetick, Agater, Hilton, Shalenskie, Kashpre, Malisko, Cosloskie, Spurrier, Miller, Botchick, Washko, Brown, Barlock, Meighen, Lloyd, Estock, Hoye, Hura, Ranson, Nashko, Koons, Elswick, & Stacks.
The teacher was Leonard B. Adair
The directors were Frank Blackburn, C.W. Scott, B.U. Davids, U.G. Nicholson, & S.J. Shepler.
The clerk was O.R. Taylor.

I have a picture of Partridge Trap School that is located in Liberty Twp. The last I knew the school was still standing. And once a year they still hold a reunion there. I have information that I'm willing to share, as well as a picture of the building from the out side and a school picture taken sometime around 1916-1917. My father and my aunts attended school there as well as some other family members.

I would love any pictures or information you can provide on this school, especially its current location/address, year of construction and year of closure. aaronturner@neo.rr.com
