I have an article written by the Cambridge Jeffersonian dated Thursday August 20, 1896 with the following information.
Married , Saturday evening Aug. 8th, 1896 , in their buggy, by J.E.Coen J.P. Hiram Hawkins and Miss ROSETTA Voorhies both of Washington, Ohio, Wills Township.
According to my family records and the census records for Wills TWP Hiram was born abt 1873, and Rosetta about 1875
My Hirams father is also listed as Elisha
